That may be the Pride rules Alex, but Pride has broken that rule many times in the past. CroCop fought 2 weeks before a Bushido event and was still allowed to fight again. He has broken that 40 day rule at least a few times in his Pride career. I think anything is possible and if they are desperate to fill the spot, they may take anyone they can get easily.
Unfortunately I don't think getting Igor for Shockwave was ever even possible because they do not have enough time to get him a working Visa to Japan. Mark Hunt, Kiyoshi Tamura, or Tsuyoshi Khosaka are better choices because they are already in Japan.
