IGOR WON.

3-0 decision.
Igor's ground skill was very wonderful, It was one sided game.
but Gondo's ground defence was good, too..

Go Igor!!

and Nakamura won Randleman by decision 3-0, Arona won dean 3-0 decision..

IGOR VOVCHANCHYN VS. YUKI KONDO

Start of round one... Both men standing, and Igor goes for a kick right away. Kondo looks defensive. The fight hits the ground and Igor is in top position, moving to side position. Kondo is trying to work in a guard, but Igor just stands up after delivering a punch. However, Kondo remains patient on the ground and now is trying to grab onto Igor's right ankle. He's trying for a submission. Igor stands right up and Kondo is vulnerable. Igor goes back on top and Kondo tries for a guard unsuccessfully. Kondo is up against the ropes near the turnbuckle, and Igor is on top looking to do some damage. Kondo reversed position and is now on top. Kondo is trying for some strikes. The fighters are positioned back in the center of the ring. Kondo is in side position and is trying for a submission. Kondo tried for a side position, and Igor grabbed his ankle and was able to manuever himself on top of Kondo and now into side position. Back on top position, Igor is trying to land some strikes. Igor is trying to land on Kondo's face but Kondo is blocking it. Under two minutes left in round one. Igor is on the attack again. Kondo manages somehow to reverse and get back on top, but Igor quickly reverses and the gong sounds. End of round one.

Round two... Igor manages to get Kondo down and is on top of him. Igor is trying to land some strikes but Kondo is defending himself well. However, Igor is relentless and nearly put Kondo out. No real offense from Kondo yet. The fighters are re-positioned in the center of the ring. Side position for Igor now and he's wasting no time in trying to hit some knee strikes on Kondo's rib cage. Igor tries to land some shots on Kondo's face from the side position and Igor moves to top position. He's trying to hit Kondo and KO him, but no luck so far. End of round two.

So far, a one-sided fight -- but this will not make for good TV unless a big KO happens in round three.

Round three... Igor is on top of Kondo on the ground and is trying to finish this fight. Kondo maintains a defensive position, however. Both men are back standing and Igor is behind Kondo and the men go to the mat with Igor on top of Kondo in a head-lock-style position and Igor is trying to hit Kondo with a knee or two. Instead, both men back up standing and against the ropes. Igor tries to hit Kondo in the face with a punch, and manages to get Kondo on the mat. Igor is on top of Kondo and is trying to punch Kondo some more. Igor is trying to go for the KO as we enter the last minute of round three. End of round three.

Igor completely outmatched and outperformed Kondo. Kondo's only saving grace from being on the next knockout highlight reel was his defense to prolong the outcome of the fight.

Winner: Igor Vovchanchyn (by judges' decision)

Igor is versatile fighter and thats why i like him so much, but some times you just have to play to your own strenghts.

Not a very good showing IMO.

He beat Kondo at his own game... so that's saying something about his grappling and chances to take the MW division home with him.

I'd like to see Igor vs. Rua or Overeem, those would make some interesting fights... and of course I'd like to see Igor vs. Silva. Glad to see Sakuraba is back in it too.

igor vs rua will be a blood bath if it will happend.i consider overeem to be dangerous for igor

My expectation about match of pridefc in june.

* Silva vs Sakuraba ------ ( Almost confirmed. After Silva fought yosida, he said 'I want to fight sakuraba next time' )

* Igor vs Shogun ( That match will be best bout,maybe. Shogun is stornger than ever. He demolished jackson.)

* Nogeira vs Nakamura

* Arona vs Overeem

Arona and Noge are same team.

Of couse, I really hope Igor meet Nakamura. But DSE like brutal fight like Igor vs Shogun. It's just my thought.

Igor might not have KOed Kondo but he did look great - fast and with a really good ground game, I think Igor vs Shogun will be awesome, Shogun gained some street-cred after KOing rampage but let's see how he will fare against a great striker who is NOT gun shy.

Yeah Igor's alot more tactical with his punches and combos, and can hit hard/harder than jackson can, and has better ground.
